Education: Graduated from Morris Community High School in 1982

Work: Returned home to work with Dwight-Pine Bluff-Lakewood
Animal Hospital in 1993. Participated in Aquavet, a month
long course in aquatic animal medicine in Wood's Mole
Massachusetts.
Has done two years of volunteer work at John G.
Shedd Aquarium.

Nicole Hawkins , CVT Education: 1992 graduate of Parkland College in Veterinary Technology
Work: Joined the staff in 1992
Also teaches puppy training and obedience classes, along with
one on one behavioral modification.
Family: Husband, Roger and sons Darren, Ben and twins, Logan and Luke
Pets: 4 horses, 1 pony, 2 dogs, and too many cats to count! Plus any
orphaned critters
Hobbies: Horseback riding, sewing, collecting bears, and critter care.
Casey Heiman , CVT Eduation: Graduated from Gardner-South Wilmington High School in 2001

Work: I have been with Dwight-Pine Bluff-Lakewood Animal Hospital
since June 2000
Pets: Canadian goose named "Bart"
Hobbies: Spending time with my family, doing things outside, taking care
of any sick or injured animals. I may find them or get them
from others that know I will try and save them.
Special Interests at my job: I especially like ultrsound and working with
any exotic species we may see.
Future: I got engaged in April 2007, with plans to be married in 2008. I
will begin school for human ultrasound in August 2008 hopefully
then I will be able to switch to animal ultrasound and have my
own traveling ultrasound buisness one day.

Work: I have worked at Lakewood Animal Hospital since July 2000
Family: Husband-Nate
Pets: 3 Fish
Hobbies: Decorating, entertaining, watching movies, reading, painting,
working out and love spending time with family and friends.
Also, My Husband and I are building our first home.
Ariane Misener , CVT-Student Education: Graduated from Seneca High School in 2004
Attending JJC and completing my 2nd year for Veterinary
Technician Program.
Work: I worked here as Kennel Tech for 2 years while in high school.
I returned this summer for my Vet. Tech. externship.

Grooming
Joan Foster , Groomer Education: Midwest School of Dog Grooming in Chicago in 1978, taking the
professional course.
Work: After graduating, I ran my own grooming business for fifteen years
in a Chicago suburb. In 1994, I joined the Dwight-Pine Bluff-
Lakewood Animal Hospital staff. I have worked at all three clinics
and am currently at Lakewood Animal Hospital.
Family: I'm married to Mark, we have a daughter-Breanna.
Pets: We have two dogs, Emmy and Odie and a cat named Puddin.
Hobbies: Gardening, decorating, cooking, and entertaining
